To save her family’s fortunes and care for her ailing mother, Molly Hooper agrees to marry the scion of the wealthy Holmes family. She receives a rude welcome and finds the eccentric scientist she’s married has no interest in a wife, but that he is in need of an assistant in his laboratory.
